I wanted to recreate a version of a Dairy Queen sundae.With all of this, I got to try two different ice creams and have a brownie. How is that for having the cake and eating it too?
For wet ingredients
- 57 g enjoy life chocolate chunks
- .5 cup unsalted butter
- 1 t vanilla
- .5 cup applesauce
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 whisked eggs
For the dry ingredients
- 3/4 cup self-rising flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 t baking soda
- extra chips for mixing or topping
- Preheat oven to 350
- Grease pan of your choice. I used these adorable silicone loafs
- Melt chocolate chips and butter in a sauce pan over low stirring constantly
- Remove from heat and add vanilla, applesauce, and sugar
- Stir in whisked egg
- Add dry ingredients and mix
- Pour mix into mold
- Top with fresh chips before baking
- Bake for 12 minutes!
